Ivanna Aguiling-Dela Torre

Founder of WomenInPolicy.Org, Ivanna is a generalist consultant by heart with experience working for clients across various industries in Southeast Asia on public affairs, communications, and social impact. She’s now taking a deep dive in healthcare at a multinational organization.

She holds a B.A. in Humanities and M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) from the University of Asia and the Pacific, a Professional Certificate in IMC from the American Marketing Association, a Professional Certificate in Sustainability Reporting & Communications from CSR Asia - Malaysia, and a Certificate in Tea Appreciation from the Australian Tea Masters. She took a course on Systems Dynamics at Harvard University and wrote a paper on mobility in Manila.

She’s the lead volunteer for #ArtCAN, which aims to clean the streets of Manila through art. She is part of the 20 Marvelous Asian Moms 2021 by theAsianParent.com.

Davinia Daniel

Davinia is a geopolitical intelligence analyst specializing in the Asia Pacific region. She is practiced in proactive and reactive reporting, strategic assessments, and engagement with senior stakeholders. She is also an active industry participant, belonging to several industry-wide APAC groups.

 

In her previous role, Davinia specialized in landscape analysis and market entry, with a focus on regulatory issues and government affairs. She has advised companies in the agricultural, consumer goods, and food and beverage industries on stakeholder engagement tactics and policy considerations in target markets.

 

Davinia’s research interests are in public management and the governance of marginalized communities. She has studied healthcare in rural China, sexual violence in DR Congo, and possible policy interventions for migrant workers in Singapore.

Cheryl Chong

Cheryl is co-founder of The Social Co. that launched the 50for50 movement to celebrate Singapore's 50th anniversary. They united 80 youth and 70 corporations for impact awareness and fund-raisers; created 38 sustainable projects and raised $4.8 million for 58 charities. Their Pledge It Forward initiative supported 51 charities that advocate for a more inclusive and resilient Singapore. Through their Power to Progress campaign, 5 changemakers raised awareness for 5 elder-care charities, and Samsung SG donated $100,000 to these same charities. In 2020, they partnered with Migrant Matters to support migrant workers being relocated in various facilities. Most recently, Cheryl initiated the launch of Shop by The Social Co., an online platform that enables the public to directly donate items to those who need them.

Cheryl holds an MBA from Nanyang Business School (NBS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and she graduated from NBS with a Bachelor of Accountancy and a second specialization in Business Law.

Cheryl was member of the 20th board of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO), the umbrella organisation of women’s organisations in Singapore, and was the Advisor of the Young Women's Leadership Connection (YWLC), a mentoring platform connecting young women leaders.

Ken, a public affairs and trade/market entry consultant for APCO Worldwide Southeast Asia, is based in the Philippines and focuses his work on public affairs and strategic communications. He has worked with the Philippine government, from 2014-2016 as well as supporting various clients from FMCG and tech on market entry, crisis communications, issues management as well as public affairs and policy advocacy. He supported the Philippine government from 2014-2016 in communicating the Republic’s economic story in various big-stage events ranging from the Republic’s hosting of WEF in 2014 to APEC in 2015 as well as assisting the transitionary administration on communications in 2016. He focuses on public affairs, policy advocacy, issues management and market entry. He graduated from the University of Asia and the Pacific with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Economy.
